A Psycho, Amnesia, and a Jumpy Heroine: Flower of Allure's Dark Rom-Com Premise Works
So far, this series has been a blast for the most part. In a world filled with villainesses and overpowered heroes, this one's a breath of fresh air just because of its premise. A girl, almost killed by a psycho, ends up forced to take care of him after an accident that wipes his memories, making him believe that the girl is his wife.
Honestly, that premise alone was what made me read the whole first season. However, I'll admit the main character has gotten on my nerves from time to time. Iyeon is very practical and realistic, but also a little annoying. I completely understand where she's coming from, though (it's still frustrating!).
If you're curious about the story itself, it does have smut, but you'll have to be extremely patient because our FM is jumpy—and that's an understatement.
Both of our main characters' pasts are not fully revealed yet, but you get an idea of their upbringing.
I think the chemistry between the two characters is palpable, but I need more in order to form a full and final opinion.
Take into account this is a DARK ROMANCE with a lot of dark comedy.
